Tane was the most wonderful friend. She was born in Gains, Texas on August 14, 1955. She passed away on June 13, 1988 in San Angelo, Texas. Tane and I met in Girl Scouts while we were at Alamo Junior High.  We did a lot of camping, hiking, chores and odd jobs, and got in trouble together. When she got her first car, she came and got me and we went to Loves to get a coke, she bent her fender while backing out of the parking spot. We went on to college. Tane always love business adventures, she was a broker, realtor, she was one of those folks who always had something going on.

Tane:

We had some wild times in high school didn't we?    From reading the "Sensuous Woman" in our tent by flashlight on our camping trips to our month long journey in a Winabago up to Niagra Falls, stopping to camp in almost every state in between.

Your mom, our Girl Scout leader taught us how to act like a lady, think like a man and work like a dog.  We called ourselves the X rated troop. We loved hanging out in your room with the blacklights, posters and beaded curtains in your doorway.  You were cool, fun and a little naughty.   Great memories.   I loved you and miss you.
