In English class jr. year we sat near each other. Our teacher was very special... Joey always made me laugh. Although, we never "ran" in the same crowd...he always spoke and that's priceless high school!
Joey and I had Health/PE together sophomore year with Mr. Carter. He and Andrew Asher would tease me all the time - they were jealous of my amazing athletic ability to stand around and do nothing during gym class. I would annoy them right back though - We had fun that year. He and I were never close, but I was still shocked and saddened by his death. I'm sorry your life was cut short so abruptly Joey - I wish you could be around to celebrate with us.
