Jaymzlinn Saxton Obituary

Jaymzlinn Saxton
1963 ~ 2012
Jaymzlinn Saxton, 49, crossed the rainbow bridge on March 18, 2012 after suffering a pulmonary embolism.
Jaymzlinn brought a smile to all she met. She adored her son Dashiell, and was devoted to him. She was known for her quick wit and humor, her outgoing personality, her intellectual curiosity and knowledge on many subjects, her creativity and artistry, her sense of adventure and love for Utah's mountains, rivers, deserts, and red rock country, her social consciousness, her warmth, her open mind, and her open and generous heart. She was a gifted gardener, musician, and one amazing cook. Those of us who were lucky enough to know her will never forget her or the joy she brought to our lives.

She is survived by her son Dashiell Garrett, and her mother Ruth Irene Pocock Saxton of Salt Lake City; her father James A. Saxton and his wife Joni of Payson Utah, Steven and Janet Pocock of Boise Idaho, and Joyce and Peter Parker of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her four-footed family: Creamsicle, Mr. Tribbles, and Yaddle. Additionally relatives in Utah, California, Idaho, Texas, Virginia survive her. Jaymzlinn is also survived by friends and extended family members too numerous to mention.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012 in Liberty Park. A second service will be held at a later date in the Moab area.
