In Memory

Randy Hunter

In loving memory of our son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and best friend, Randy Hunter, who passed away Monday evening, February 17, 1997, of injuries sustained in an auto accident in Murray.

Randy was born on a bright and sunny Sunday morning, September 23, 1973 in Boise, Idaho. At age two and a half, he moved to Provo, Utah with his family. At the time he began grade school he was living in West Valley City. He began playing football at age 8, the love of his younger life, and continued playing through his senior year at Hillcrest High School. He suffered a back injury requiring surgery during his junior year of football. He then took up the second love of his life, golfing. His goal then became to beat his dad and grandfather just once. After graduating from Hillcrest High School, Randy attended one and a half years at UVSC in Orem, Utah. He was presently working for the new Hoppers Restaurant where he has made some very dear friends not only with the managers and employers but with many guests as well. With Randy having been a part of our very large and close family and having many friends, we are all feeling a huge void in our lives at this time. Thank you, Randy, for being here on this earth with us and being a loving part of all of our lives. We love you and will always miss you tremendously but we know our lives are blessed and made better because for 23 years plus you have given us love, laughter and joy. We love and miss you.

Randy is survived by his parents, Ronald and Kay Hunter; paternal grandparents, Duaine and Montez Hunter; brother, D.J. (Daniel) Hunter; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mike and Trudi Budd; Robert and Sheri Gunzales; nieces and nephews, Amber Lucero, Paul Budd, B.J. Randy always had a smile on his face!  He was an amazing athlete, and could throw the football farther than anyone at the school.  If anyone can locate his obituary, please copy it here. We will miss him.
