      Steve died in 1999 in Sea Girt, New Jersey.  Doug Calhoun remained friends with Steve for many years.  They both practiced law in the Jersey Shore area.  He reported that Steve died of a heart attack.  Steve was married to our classmate, Mary MacLeod.  The 1970 newspaper announcement of their engagement stated that Steve was a graduate of Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service, and that, prior to attending law school at Seton Hall University, he served as an aide to Sen. Edward M. Kennedy in Washington, DC.
