Phyllis Mitchell Thompson, age 68, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018. Funeral Services were held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville with Rev. Larry Glover and Rev. Carol Davis officiating. Interment followed in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Thompson was a native and lifelong resident of Baldwin County. She was the daughter of the late T. A. and Gladys Porter Mitchell. Mrs. Thompson was a “generational banker” at Century Bank and Trust for 49 years and 1 month. Her customers became family to her. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Mitchell, and sister, Barbara Budrys. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Ferrell Thompson; daughter, Toi (Ken) Franks; and grandson, Trenton Franks; all of Milledgeville.
