Oh sweet Charlie.....didn't know him much in high school otherthan through Mary Teague who he dated.  Got to know him through working at Wes King's medical office and what a sweetheart he was.  Could talk the horns off a billygoat when he got started and what a sense of humor even living in the situation he was in.  We became friends through many office conversations and phone calls.  He made mention that he'd never gotten to come to any of the Class Reunions because of having the accident. He decided he wanted a mini-class reunion.  I was so not wanting to get one up but he persisted and I couldn't say no and we decided on a very small get together at the Brick with some people he had mentioned...about 15 of us locally went to dinner there.  He was so very excited about it and we'd talk and talk about it coming up in December that year. He came but was sick and not feeling well at all that night.  I'm sooooo glad we did it though because he passed away a couple of months later. I have missed our conversations and would never have been able to live with myself had I let that opportunity pass to make him happy and to have gotten to know him. He was such an example for all of us.  He is at Peace now. Love you Charlie!!!!!
