I have good memories of Karen. Vickie Tanner, Karen and I were a threesome for a long time. I can't believe she's gone. I can still see her driving her white 1964 Mustang, and later her Cutlass. She said it was the first Mustang sold in Milledgeville. She would drive way out towards Sandersville, just to get her favorite Wise's BBQ chips. We had lots of fun together. She was a great girl. We lost touch. She went through alot. I loved Mr. & Mrs. Dunn. They were all special.

Love that girl! Became good, good friends late in life. Loved to see her smile and had such good long talks about life's difficulties and how things seem to turn out. Did get to see her happy and got to tell her how happy I was and how things had gotten so much better for both of us before she died so unexpectedly. Good memories of her and miss her very much.

Karen was a true artist. She was so gifted in so many ways. She was kind and caring. She left too early. I remember going to the funeral home to see her parents and it just did not seem real. So many questions when one leaves so unexpected. She was a treasure that walked among us for a season.

One of the nicest people I ever met.  I see her daughter at our family picnics, since Jim Giles sister is my Aunt Sarah Simmons, now remarried to Jimmy Ivey. Her daughter is much like her in personality.
