WOW,

It's over.. It went so fast!

First off, I want to thank Michelle Soucie for Handling all the incoming checks and keeping me updated. Michelle, I truly appreciate all the help. Really, thank you.
Second, Kim Dentice for getting me off my butt and finishing what I started in January of 2007. Also if it wasn't for Kim we might not have had a Reunion! Kim forked out the hefty down payment for the hall that got the ball rolling again! Thanks a bunch Kim!!

I hope all of you that came had a great time, I know I did. For those of you that didn't attend, you missed one hell of a good time.
After we closed Klemmer's (where the reunion was held) we all headed over to the Paragon Club on Hwy 100 and closed that place. Last two standing or I should say sitting, was me and Robert Ryerson! Yep! we where the last two to get thrown out of the Paragon at 2:35am! I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing... But it was fun.

Looking back at the reunion in a nut shell..

In HHS traditional manner we went thru 3 Half Barrels beer! $675
The Bar was very busy with mixed cocktails also.
Dance floor was busy! The most dancing I ever seen at a reunion. It was the place to be.
We had 75 people show up.
Personal Opinion here, the women of the class of 1978 fared much better in looks then the men did.
(OK un-politically correct version of the same statement)
THE CHICKS OF 78 ARE STILL HOT!
I thought the food was very good! and from the quick poll I took while chatting around I heard nothing to say otherwise.
Decorations looked good, candles burned well and the Green and Yellow M&M's on the table where a hit. (ok I'm an M&M junkie)
The DJ did a wonderful job keeping the volume in check so we could talk and catch up on things and at the same time keeping the dance floor hopping.
High School picture name tags worked very well for those of us that have a hard time with names.
Location was easy to get to and worked out very well.

What's next???

Well, in this electronic age it is much easily to get a hold of all the classmates that are signed up! KEY WORD is signed up! Make sure you have signed up at the new website www.hamilton78.com and make sure you tell all the other classmates you know. What surprised me the most was the amount of people telling me that they just heard about the reunion a few days ago, and in some cases even hours right before it started. WOW! the Reunion WEB site has been up and running since January of 2007 that's 22 months ago! 22 months ago I started working on this project. It is also on the Milwaukee Public School Systems Reunion WEB site, and at the Hamilton High School WEB page too. So the information was out there for a long time. I know we are older and just missed the big push for computer learning and fancy phones but, we all need to keep up with it or we will be left in the dust of technology.   OK, off my soap box....

Now that we have a decent database to work from we will do much more, more often!
Like what? you may ask.
Upcoming Events are Brewers Baseball Night with tailgating, Fish Fry's, Summer Family Picnics, Golf Outings, and the informal short notice of meeting at a bar for some drinks and or food.
Send me your suggestions, I would love to hear from you.

Take time to explore the WEB site it's fun to read the profiles and reconnect. I have posted some Images from the reunion in a slide show (see yellow menu on left 30th Pictures) The front page slide show will disappear soon leaving the main menu one. Send me your Picture files and I will post them into the slide show!

Thanks Class of 78 for coming and for letting me be a part of it. Somthing I feel I didn't do while in school.
Bob Scrip
