Steven M. Colker of Oklahoma City passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the age of 48 years. He was born June 23, 1964 in Milwaukee, the son of Jerold and Sally (nee Hopfinger) Colker. He graduated from Harold Vincent High School in Milwaukee. Steve traveled to Oklahoma City to fulfill his dream, proudly serving the Oklahoma City Police Department for the past 27 years as a Master Sergeant with the highest integrity. He is greatly missed by his mom, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family. Steve loved his yearly deer hunting trips to Wisconsin to spend time with his dad, grandpa, brothers, uncles, and family.
Steve is preceded in death by his father, John, in 2002, Uncle Tom Colker, and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Sally Colker of Hartford, his brothers Jeff Colker of Glendale, WI, Greg (Lisa) Colker of Milwaukee, Mark (Andi) Colker Waupun, his aunts and uncles, Cheryl Colker, Penny (John) Binngley, Fred (Dawn) Hopfinger, Susan (Craig) Kuhlenbeck, Sandra (Richard) Kuehl, Otto (Kim) Hopfinger, and by nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
