Died:

(Nee Kraus) Was born in Milwaukee on January 8, 1913. She graduated from Washington High School and Spencerian College before working in the business field. Anita was active in sports most of her life, tennis was her favorite. She played into her 90s, winning several medals in the Senior Olympics. She also excelled as a violinist and in many crafts, including rug making, copper enameling and pottery.

Anita married George Treinen on June 26, 1937. The two were married for 54 years before he died on May 26, 1991. They had 3 children, Joyce (Ralph) Radtke of Grafton, Ray (Judy) Treinen of Jackson and Dale (Lorelei) Treinen of Waukesha. She is survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by additional family and friends.

Gathering will be at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield on Sunday, March 20, from 11:00 am-12:45 pm. Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Lasata Green House and Activities Center.
