Obituary for Alvin "Dink" Holzman

December 28, 1923 - March 20, 2017

Passed away March 20, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Reggie Holzman (nee Kampel). Cherished father of Bill (Rivka) Holzman, Jim (Randy) Holzman, and Liz (John) Fromstein. Adored "Papa Dink" of Jessie (Jaime) Draper, Jake and Andrew Holzman, Jack and Danny Holzman, and Charlie and Ben Fromstein. Loving "Papa Papa" of Sammy Draper. Dear brother-in-law of Bernice (the late Dan) Holzman and Carol (the late Lee) Rainwater. Fond uncle of Stu (Michele) Holzman, Marilyn (Scott) Levin, Jon (Susan) Rainwater and Katherine Rainwater. Further survived by many loving relatives and dear friends.

Dink was a proud graduate of UW-Madison and an avid Badger fan. He treasured the time he spent tutoring hundreds of B'nai Mitzvot students at Congregation Shalom.

Funeral services Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Congregation Shalom, 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point, WI. Burial to follow at Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave., Brookfield, WI. Memorials to Congregation Shalom or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
