Obituary for Jean L Malmstrom

Malmstrom, Jean L. of East Troy, found peace Tuesday August 15, 2017 at age 92 years. She was born May 6, 1925 in Milwaukee to parents Elton and Gertrude Schultz. Jean attended Washington High School. Jean married her loving husband Gilbert and they resided in Wauwatosa until their retirement when they moved to East Troy. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Wauwatosa Presbyterian church for over 60 years. Jean is a great friend of St. James United Methodist of East Troy and has been for many years. She is the past president of the Wauwatosa Suburban Woman’s club, co-founder of the Walworth County chapter of NAMI, she volunteered for the S.T.E.P. program at the East Troy Elementary Schools. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as she was a “people person.” She is survived by her children Gregg(Deb)Malmstrom, Kathy(Rick)Anderson, and Paul Malmstrom. Grandchildren: Matthew(Sandy)Malmstrom, Troy(Amy)Malmstrom, Kristen(Darren)Gallagher, Lissy Malmstrom, Ryan(Tiffany)Piedot, and Rob(Amy)Piedot. Great grandchildren: Adeline, Jackson, Boyd, Declan, Charlotte, and Mitchell, along with other relatives and friends.
