Lois and I had so much fun after school walking home from Steuben together and then playing games until it got dark outside and I would walk the last mile home by myself. I think we were in 9th grade at the time. I had hoped to stop and see her in Manitowoc on our way to Door County but somehow never remembered until it was too late. We would vacation there in Door County. (Drove from Colorado). She was fun and smart and talented and really missed her at the last reunions.
