Gilbert (Gil, Gilly) Minkin

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his three loving children on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Horizon Hospice.

Beloved husband for 55 years of the late Enid Minkin (Nee Moglowsky). Cherished father of Loryn (Mike) Minkin Cocos, Mark (Leah) Minkin and Todd (Lynn) Minkin. Adored grandfather of Brian (Lindsay), Jordan (Maddie), Anna, Daniel, Andrew and Patrick and Great Papa to Jonah and Parker. Further survived by his sisters Marcia (Ruby) Katz, Sandra Weinstein and “Brother Mike” (Janet) Minkin as well as other loving relatives and dear friends.

A Milwaukee native, Gil was well known in restaurants all over town due to his 50 plus years of service at Fein Brothers Restaurant Equipment and Supplies.

Funeral services Sunday, April 3rd, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Second Home Cemetery, 3705 South 43rd Street, Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Congregation Shalom or Horizon Home Care & Hospice appreciated.
