Kies, Geraldine Fay "Gerry" (Nee Erdmann ) Passed away on February 23, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, in Foothill Ranch, CA. Beloved wife of 61 years to Bill and loving daughter/niece to Janet (Bill) Schrader, 2 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, sister-in-law, Diane (Ray) Weber of Cedarburg and many nieces and nephews who she adored. She was born in Milwaukee on December 12, 1931. Gerry was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School where she was involved in many school activities. She lived in the Milwaukee area through her early adult life. She and her husband, Bill, then lived in Columbia, SC. for 5 years after which they moved to Aptos, CA. Their next home was in Southern California, where she breathed her last. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Lucille and Joanne. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends who loved her. A memorial service was held in California on March 3rd.
