Mayer, Howard J. "Howie" Found his peace on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Age 71. Loved dad of Howard (Peggy) Mayer, Mark (Sherri) Mayer, Sarah (Mark) Foster and Christine (Chad) Toliver. Grandfather of 11 grandkids. Dear brother of Frank (the late Mary) Mayer. Further survived by nephews Mike, Craig and Kevin Mayer. Visitation at the Funeral Home, Friday, October 24, from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM. Funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. Howie was a devoted Police Officer of 35 years for the Milwaukee Police Department. "Until we meet again!"
