Carla was my sister.  She was always very gregarious.  Every opportunity was an opportunity to meet new people and make friends.  As I go through the papers she left behind she dazzled the people at Roundys, to the manufacturer's rep. for Boost, to the Catholic Father.  (Carla was not Catholic.)  All Carla wanted was to be included.  She enjoyed tracking down all of her old classmates to notify them of the reunions.

As my brother said, "she left us too soon."  I know she is organizing the classmates in heaven that have passed on.

Thank you, Joe Kmoch, for posting this memory and for being a friend of hers.

Carla will be missed by all that cared about our Class of 1967. She was always the first person to greet us when we attended Class activities. I did not know of her passing until today 1-19-15. She knitted us little 'Washington W's to wear on our shirt buttons to show school pride. We have them displayed in our home and they will be a eternal reminder of Carla in our home in Juneau, Wisconsin. The World has lost a wonderful person. Peace.     Tom & Linda Schmidt

Carla and I were very close in High School but I regret we were not so close after graduation.  I know she was always the first to volunteer and help organize.  She will be greatly missed by all those she touched.  God Bless her.

To the Huebner family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Carla was always the first one you met at the reunion, and wanted to make sure you were having a good time. She would talk to you as though it was just like yesterday and we were at WHS.  May she rest in peace!  Thank you for alerting us of her passing. She will be missed.

My memories of Carla are primarily of High School - frequently, she'd hang out with the group of students that I was part of. I remember her as being pleasant and kind. We'd run into each other during college, but then my career path took me out of Milwaukee. I was only able to take part of 2 reunions - but each time Carla was there to make my wife and I feel welcome - the last time in 2012. Yes, Carla loved her classmates. I hope she had an enjoyable Christmas with her family...

I am so sorry  to hear of Carla's passing.  She always cracked me up in High School.  I remember her contacting me regarding coming to a reunion a few years ago.  I was unable to make it, but I think of her and wish I would have come to see everyone and Carla.

So sorry to hear of your passing, Carla.  You were always the one to make sure everyone was having fun at the reunions and worked very hard on them.  I hope you are working on one for all of our classmates that have passed.  Rest in Peace!!!  To all of your family my deepest sympathies.

Today, dear sister, would have been your 66th birthday.  I miss you so much.
