O'Keefe, Kevin "Chef Kevin" Of Wauwatosa, age 59. Born to Eternal Life Friday, October 10, 2008. Beloved husband for 13 years of Nancy (nee Marquardt). Dear father of Jason (Natalie) of McLeansville, NC. Dear brother of Dennis. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen (nee Walsh) and his brother, Tim. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Kevin was a graduate of Washington High School and served in the U.S. Army. He received his culinary degree from MATC and was a chef for many years on the East Coast. After moving back to Milwaukee, Kevin worked at The Wisconsin Club, Davians, Grasch Foods and, for the last four years, at Sendik's in Wauwatosa. Chef Kevin was the "man with the big white hat" who had a smile for every customer. He was an inspiration to his staff as well as everyone around him. His presence will be deeply missed. Visitation on Friday, October 17 from 2:00 PM until time of Service at 5:00 PM, at the Funeral Home. Memorials to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are appreciated.
