Richard died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Langer) for 50 years. Loving father of Glenn and Neil (Lynn). Proud grandpa of Lily and Emmy. Dear brother-in-law of Karen Langer, Dick (Beth) Langer and family, Ron (Lisa) Langer and family and Cindy (Steve) Harris. Special cousin of Arlene Seifert. Best friend of Ray (Barb) Last. He will also be remembered by other relatives and friends.

Richard was a dairy farmer in Brookfield and Mapleton. He enjoyed watching sports, listening to polka music, fishing and playing cards.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Rd., Waukesha from 4:00 PM until the Memorial Service at 6:30 PM. Private interment St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Stone Bank.
