David H. Miller

Passed away peacefully on June 2, 2016 at the age of 95.

Devoted husband for 72 years of Annette Miller (nee Mautner). Cherished father of Stephen (dear companion of Ellen Evensen) Miller of Plymouth, MA, Margaret (James Berg) Miller of Eugene, OR and the late Joanna Miller. Loving grandfather of Joanna and Jackson Berg. Dear brother of Joseph Miller of Oceanside, CA.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, David was an Eagle Scout and skilled outdoorsman. He graduated from Washington High School followed by the University of Wisconsin with a mechanical engineering degree. During WWII, he served as a naval officer in the Pacific aboard a tanker for 3 years. After the war, he embarked on a successful business career in Milwaukee as president of Miller Bros Iron & Metal Co. and later as president and co-founder of College Research Corp. When not spending time with his family, David was an avid photographer and fisherman. He had a zest for life and remained a happy, active man until his passing.

Funeral services Sunday, June 5th at 1:00 PM at Congregation Shalom, 7630 North Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point. Burial to follow at Second Home Cemetery, 3705 South 43rd Street, Milwaukee.
