Dave's entrly in the Memory Book for the 2008 Reunion:

Nineteen fifty-eight:  How could an 18-year-old boy with his diploma under his arm possibly imagine a 50th year class reunion, let alone envision being 68 years old?  Wasn't that grandpa's age?  Yet here I am... 68...and life is good!  If the last fifty years have taught me anything, it is that treasure is measured in family and friends.

Don Bosco was my first Catholic School experience.  I came from a public school in Hales Corners.  My first day of school began in Brother Fred Finks homeroom # 113.  I did not know a single person in that big, old, black, drafty building with creaking stairs, and truthfully my initial experience was rather frightening.  The first person I met that day was Tom Cyganek, and we remained friends throughout my four years at Bosco.
