Bob and I also went to Christopher Latham Sholes Junior High School in Milwaukee.  My strongest memory of Bob was that he and I collided while playing "touch" football during lunch hour at Sholes.  We were both in either 8th or 9th Grade.  When it happend, we both flew to the ground.  I ended up with a broken wrist and he ended up being mildly stunned but he was alright.  He was so nice about it all and he was really concerned about the condition of my arm.  The principal of Sholes personally drove me to Johnson Hospital for an X-ray.  I needed a cast which extended from my wrist to about 4 or 5 inches above my elbow.  Almost everyday thereafter Bob would ask me if I'm alright and if my arm was feeling any better.  He was such a nice guy and extremely thoughtful.
