Grimes, Timothy Lee Born on October 2, 1942, Tim Grimes of Fridley died peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Survived by wife Nancy (Risvold); children Annette Altobelli, Dave (Jeannie), Donna Klingenberg (George), Laura and Mike (Emily); grandchildren Rochelle, Crystal, Kara, Ashley, Timmy, Walter and Burleigh. Preceded in death by father Mike, mother Cecelia and brother Mickey. Graduate of the U of M and lifelong Gopher fan. He retired from Unisys in 2001, then ushered for the MN Twins. Tim loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a world-traveler, enjoyed riding his bike around Minnesota trails and loved spending time with family and friends. Tim will be missed by many. Funeral service Wednesday, August 9 at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. William, 6120 5th St., Fridley. Visitation one hour prior at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Rheumatology Research Foundation, 2200 Lake Blvd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.
