Paul Carl Nelson

Nelson, Paul Carl age 81, of Prior Lake MN, formerly of Minneapolis MN. Passed away 11/5/2023. He was born 5/30/1942 and is survived by his loving wife, Susan of 61 years; children Michael (Kristie) Nelson, Cindy Roedel and Christopher (Beth) Nelson; daughter-in-law, Jillian Nelson; brother, Skip Nelson; sister, Kathleen Mathiesen; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Preceded in death by son, Scott Nelson; parents, Carl and Clarise Nelson. He was a graduate of De LaSalle HS class of 1960 and worked for Pepsi Cola for 37 years as a Route Sales Manager. Paul was the number one fan of his children and grandchildren going to numerous games throughout the years. He loved sports, especially the Minnesota Twins, never missing a game. He was an avid bird hunter and cherished his time in ND. He loved to travel going to MLB ballparks, many cruises and especially annual visits to Las Vegas. Paul will finally be pain free and will be missed by his family and friends. In lieu of a funeral there will be a private family gathering. Memorials preferred to ALS Association of Minnesota in the name of Scott Nelson.
