Russell, Arthur Daniel Age 70, of Apple Valley, MN, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on June 19, 2012. Beloved son, brother, friend, husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Elizabeth Russell. Survived by wife, Mary Anne Russell, and four children and their spouses, Timothy Russell (Patrick Dickey), Michael Russell (Carrie), Patrick Russell (Jill), Margaret "Molly" Rubbelke (Thomas) and by sisters Ellen Mahli, Mary Kenyon, Joanne Parsons, Frances Russell, Elizabeth Beer and brother Daniel Russell. 

Art was born in Milwaukee, WI. The family re-located to Minneapolis, MN in 1949. Throughout his life Art, known as Tim in his younger years, was an active member of his community and church. He was blessed with many beloved friends and colleagues and enjoyed a long career in the construction and finance industry. 

Throughout his life he enjoyed athletics, sporting events, fishing, and golf. Art especially cherished his family and chums. He received immense joy in cheering his eight grandchildren Josh, Catie, Megan, Briana, Abby, Danny, Jake, and Maddy at various sporting and recreational events. 

Mass of Christian Burial 1:00 PM Sat., June 23, at the Church of St. Albert the Great (2836 33rd Ave. South Minneapolis, MN). Visitation 4-8 PM Fri., June 22, at O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul MN, 651-698-0796) with a prayer service starting at 7PM. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, MN. The family suggests bequests in honor of Arthur's life to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Open Arms of Minnesota, and the American Cancer Society.
