Shipshock, Gregory T. age 71, of Spring Lake Park, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2014. Greg was a respected pharmacist whose career spanned more than 40 years, much of it at the Snyder Drug Store in Fridley. Everyone looked forward to sharing time with him. His sense of humor would brighten their spirits. He was an intellectual who loved to read and had an endless passion for learning. Also, he was a man of music, lovingly referred to as "Rockin’ Shippy." Greg was kind hearted and sentimental. Spending time with his family on the shores of Lake Superior was one of his greatest pleasures. He is survived by his daughters, Catharine (Robert) Stonestreet, Kelly (Paul) Medin; granddaughter, Katie Medin; sister, Sandra (Cemal) Tashan; and brother, Gil (Carol) Shipshock. He will be very deeply missed. A memorial service will be held in celebration of his life on Friday, May 16, 4:00-7:00 PM with service at 6:00 PM at Washburn- McReavy Northeast Chapel.
