ARTHUR H. "Skip" WEYRAUCH

Graduated Grinnell College 1965.
Married Sept 1966, Divorced 1977, Remarried 1977, Divorced 1995. Still single.
Joined USAF Sept 1965 as Pilot, Flew Fighters for 21.5 years. Served in Viet Nam, Japan, Korea, and USA, among other locations. Moved to Florida in 1978, moved to Niceville in 1982, and retired as USAF Lt. Col. in 1986 (versus asignment to the Pentagon). Worked as government contractor for USAF for another 14 years, and then started driving school bus for the county school system "just for fun" enjoying that 9-months a year job. Live on a gentleman's ranch of just under 2 acres. Very active in Niceville United Methodist Church -- member since 1982. Sing in choir, lead three bible studies, work in hospitality ministry, and served as lay leader. Work with local blood center organizing blood drives and donating platelets. Business partners with doctor friend in GeneWize, a DNA based wellness business (fits well with my family background in the medical/health business). Diagnosed in 9/11 and still learning to live with Kennedy's Disease (aka Spinal Bulbar Muscular Atrophy - SBMA). Retired from school bus driving 6/12 and now (1/13) have become very dependent on a walker. Still active in my church and love spending time gardening! Hoping to do some traveling across our wonderful nation this coming year (2013-14) before my SBMA takes my mobility away. I look forward to a grand road trip with a traveling companion to visit family in AZ, WA, MN, WI, VA, NC. and GA.
