Janson, Kathleen Rains Age 49, of Apple Valley, MN. Her bright eyes, dimpled smile, and warm generous heart made the world a better place. Kathy was beyond courageous in her battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was an example of beauty and strength. Preceded in death by her brother John. Survived by her husband, Forrest; daughter, Rachel and stepdaughter, Jennifer (Mike) Hartman, and their children Anna and Logan. Also survived by her loving parents, William and Jessie Rains; sisters, Sharon Rains, Therese (Steve) Dalton, Rosemary (Keith) Bailey; brothers, Stephen (Barb) Rains, David (Brenda) Rains, and Kevin Rains. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Kathy had numerous friends who dearly loved her including Dana, Kim, Lorie, Lisa, Rita, Roberta, and Wendy. Kathy was a graduate of Holy Name Grade School, Roosevelt High School, and the University of Minnesota. She worked for Pearson Company for nearly 30 years and was beloved by her co-workers.
Visitation Wednesday, July 15 from 4-8 PM at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley. Service for extended family will be held Thursday, 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
