Jones, James Kenneth Of South Minneapolis. Passed away peacefully at home after a short battle with cancer, on his 43rd birthday, Sept. 12th. '85 graduate of Roosevelt, worked for Booker Construction for many years. James enjoyed ultralight airplanes, jet skies, and snow plowing. Survived by loving wife of 17 years, Margie; son, Lucas; mother, Iva Lou Jones; brother, Jerome; 2 sisters, Susan Schmidt (Steven) and Mary Ann Eide (Jeffrey); father and mother-in-law, Jerome and Rita Johnson; dog, Hector the Protector, and many relatives, friends, and neighbors. Preceded in death by father, Kenneth; sister, Sandra and best friend, Nathan Hunter.
