Hope everyone is enjoying all our lovely weather with all this rain. I know my flowers and trees just love it.  I thought I would let everyone know that  I have been calling a few people to let them know about our voc site needing money to make it another year. The few people I have talk to didn't know because they haven't looked at the site for a long time. So, if anyone has a few close friends that they know their phone numbers ---give them a call, and let them know how they can help. "Happy Father's Day" to all you Daddy's!!

We will keep the site this year regardless, however $45 more would cover that expense.   Trying to avoid using funds from the treasury - which we will need to set up the next class reunion.  We feel it's better that this site is paid for by those of us using it.  Thanks again to those that have sent a check so far.  All is well - the sun  is shining here in MN.  Never heard if Doug Caple was coming to town but I sure hope Richard Chelmo sees him at the State Fairgrounds......and that would be tomorrow, June 17th.  & "Golly gee" (speakin' Minnesotan that is) where did all these great pictures come from - nice touch - I LIKE IT!!!!

Hey Everyone, sorry it has been awhile.  I have been crazy busy this summer!!!  The fun just does not end, well this is good though.  lol

Work keeping me extremely busy so with that being said I am hoping someone else will head up the Sexy Sixties Boat excursion.  I  know there are alot out there that are anxious to get it in the works and I just do not have the time right now.  I am all for it though and would love to come.

As far as the funds go, I think the votech account is sitting pretty good, and with having others add to it to pay for the renewal of the website it should be taken care of.  I do not have statements or anything since Billy takes care of that.

Let me know when the next get together is going to be, would love to see everyone again!  Enjoy the rest of the summer and get ready for the STATE FAIR!  I can hardly wait:)

We had Mary's 40 HS reunion (Central HS) a couple of weeks ago.  We did a river dinner cruise out of Stillwater.  It lasted about 2.5 hours.  Food was good (buffet).  Thanks,

OH ALSO, hope to start a plan for the "Sexy Sixties Boat Trip" next year.  So, send input if you are not coming - What day, Saturday-afternoon, evening or Sunday??  One of the State Fair weekends so travelers could enjoy both???   That would probably be the weekend before Labor Day or could be Labor Day weekend if travelers wanted???

These folks will be at Chilis this Sunday 5pm - 5245 Wayzata Blvd in St Louis Park - that Sunday 9/12 (the day after 911) - so easy to remember.  Hope to see some more of you.  The reservation is on the home page tab - 2nd item.  Please respond if you are coming so Nancy can reserve a seat for you (Thanks Nance 10 so far).    ALSO, Do you have more info on the boat trip you were on Les - as in cost and time of day it goes out,  could be back up to the Minnetonka cruise for next August ---- We're kind of thinking the Saturday night one week before Labor Day - we'll be talking about that this Sunday.    Life is Good - VHS Super Best Week to Everyone!

Chilis was a small group last Sunday - but gosh - did we have fun.  How much can a group of classmates laugh - all is good.  Tentative plan is Sexy Sixties Boat cruise - the weekened before labor day 2011 - to celebrate!!!! We will be taking the Sunset Cruise at $34.95 per person- 7-9:30 pm on Saturday night.  Start making your own individual reservation at Queen of Excelsior with Michael at 952-767-3110 next June.  Each person coming should identify themselves as being with the Vocational High School group for that evening, and will put it on their own credit card - it's a long way off but this is our tentative plan and who knows when we'll all see each other so best get it going for those travelling in.  Respond with any comments, questions, concerns - 4 Course meal and cash bar - If we have 50-60 people reserved early enough next year they'll save the whole boat for us - which would be cool if there is that much interest.  Either way - it will all work.

Great to hear from you Doug - Your letters are so very entertaining - hmmmmm must be the entertainer in you.  Thanks for the update - Come on class - keep us up on your life a little - someone must have an interesting story to tell - we're all ears (eyes?)!!!! I can tell you don't drive 169 south of 494 tonight - we just did and the icerink was terrible. Freezing rain with cars in the ditch everywhere - we crawled all the way home - made it safely, time for a good book!
