Hello out there! We are all still out here-just have been so busy. I went to Florida for 3 wks. Didn't want to come home, but everyone in my family wanted me to make a Turkey. So, we got home on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and I made a Turkey with all the rest of the goodies. I also made a Turkey in Florida for my Father-in-law , so I was pretty full of Turkey. Well, I  will be going back to Florida Jan. 3rd to the 17th .  but if anyone wants to get together on the 21st (Saturday) or the 22nd (Sunday) we could plan something. I was thinking maybe a snow day-like back in the old days, at Vocational . Does anyone remember our Snow day? Remember where we had it? I think it was by Glenwood in Mpls.  by the golf course. Anyways, I  thought maybe some hot chocolate, hot apple cider. Maybe we could all bring some goodies. Or maybe we could just go out to eat somewhere. Open to ideas. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm open to getting together January 21/22 weekend.  Just recently gathered at Medina with friends - what a good time.  Did a quiet dinner there first and then stayed for the band.  Would totally recommend that a gain sometime too.  We had an incredibly busy Christmas Week then left town to the Northshore - Bluefin Bay for New Years.  Go back to work tomorrow - Really a lazy day today - I'm actually trying to clear out alot of my emails--- have a million other things I should be doing though.  Will wait on Dolly - The Floridian!!!

I am back!!! Oh, I love Florida, but I love my family here too. So, who wants to meet at a Denny's? And where is a close enough one for all of us to meet at? I ate at a Florida Denny's and because my husband and I have AARP-because we are old now---we had 20 % off our bill!  Plus they have a senior menu. So, if some of us that have a small pocket book-it won't cost you that much to meet up. Unless, you want to meet up at another place. I just want to see everyone again! Hey Dolly - nice talking to you today.  I hadn't talked to you in a while.  Glad you had a good time in Florida, even though the weather wasn't so cooperative.  I could meet for brunch.  Here is another idea.

There is a place in St. Louis Park called Bunny's that has a great brunch and a wonderful price.  They have a select menu that you order from and the prices are under $10 and you get a lot of food and a drink, (Bloody Mary or a Screwdriver or I think Champagne) included for that price.  I think it opens at 10 or 10:30.  Just another idea.

I know where Bunny is located. It's on Excelsior Blvd, right? They might have a web site with their menu. I would be open to that. It is pretty easy to get to -  for me. 10:30 would be fine. Anyone else interested?

Sounded like it was a night to be remembered...wish we could have been there...we were somewhere in Nebraska moving the last of our worldly posessions to the great state of Texas...keep posting any summer adventures for 2012..we may get up to Minnesota then!  God be with Ya'all!

Hi  back to you, Terry.  I just got back from 2 1/2 wks.  in Floriida. It was beautiful 82 to 88 degree weather. My husband and I did a little motorcycling, sun bathing and boating. We enjoy visiting Florida , but it is nice to be back home with family. it was a little cool today, but nice with the sun out. Take care, Dolly

Thank you Terry - You are the only response so far so that does kinda answer the question somewhat.  A few of us will discuss this and see if checks should be sent.  We could just refund if not enough comes in.  It may be time to pass on the site.  However, I wanna say sure think Bonnie did a great job establishing it.  There would be facebook for those who want to keep in touch a little and are okay with that.  Many of us are connected already and we could set up our own page there where ONLY classmates visit back and forth.  Not exactly sure how that works. Going to lunch today with Mina and Debbie - So glad Mina called to visit the bakery and let us know she was going to be in town.  Everyone take care.

HI ALL - RECEIVED A FEW VOLUNTEERS SO THE WEBSITE WILL BE PAID FOR THIS YEAR.  Looks like this may be the last one if activity doesn't pick up on the site.  So - do I have any news.  Not much. My side interest is mainly linedancing right now.  Started at the Y and have continued with new friends outside the club.  Had a fun lunch with Debbie and Mina while she was in town.  I'll add a picture if I can remember how.  Maybe on my profile I guess - Let's talk friends.

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I'd pass along what's going on with me. I came out of retirement to be a Baker for Perkins. Well, OK, I retired from Printing, not the workforce entirely. I'm having just the greatest time, really, something I've always thought of doing, and have always been told I should do by others. It's part-time, just enough for me. I also took a cake decorating class to add to my list of fun things to go with it. Getting to do things I never got to before.                 Looking forward to another "free" Summer to spend as I please with the grandkids and their activities, creating memories as we go.

Hope to see more participation on this site, perhaps another get-together soon.

Hey Everyone!  I had such a nice time when I was in Minneapolis to help Debbie (the tall one, but we did visit Debbie the short one and had a great time visiting her as well) celebrate her Birthday a few days early.  And lunch with Shirley and Debbie was a hoot. Sorry I missed Dolly, Billie and Bonnie, but next time.  I'm going on my 3 month hiatus to Jamaica, July 13th will return Oct. 10th.  Hope everyone is doing FABULOUS! Loving and living life to the fullest.................I know I AM!!!

Thanks all for contributions - Billie has paid the site bill so any contributions will replace the funds in the class checking account - those who offered please send to Billie.  I just am getting mine sent in now Billie. Feel it is best for those interested to pay rather than depleting our class reunion funds.

See there is some interest in getting together.  Any ideas, just go ahead and use the message forum to get something set up.  Also, try to get your friends to use it too.  It was great seeing Debbie and Mina - hopefully Mina will send us some pics and keep us up on life in Jamaica this summer - that adventurous woman is having a GOOOOOOOD TIME!!

Haven't seen Dolly but she sounds better on the phone.  Therapy for pain -- get back to being your very well self Dolly.  Good Health and Happy Summer to all!!

Searching for some of our site slide shows I found a message that slide.com closed its doors in March of 2012.  It appears this was the source we used to set up several slideshows and therefor appears that we have lost that part of our website.  Boo hoo -  some remains....some is just gone.  You Techies ( sp?) out there can check it out...that's how I'm understanding the disappearance.   ALSO - If your email address has changed or any other info - perhaps your now retired??? DON'T FORGET TO update this site.  Good idea to send a message to Billie too so her records get updated as the site will not necessarily always be here.  THANKS ALL YOU CLASSY PEOPLE!!!
