IN MEMORY: I just finished reading the comments on our 12 classmates that definitely won't be with us this reunion. Should make us all grateful we can be together this year. Leave some memories about these people - "Kids, in a few years who knows how many more of our memories will be gone!!!" There are quite a few that we aren't showing any comments from. Classmates, this is the least we can do. Help us all to remember them by leaving a story or comment or just a little 'TLC'. Comments and stories can be left right on their profile for everyone to know more about them back in 69 and maybe some of their lifestory since.

I was thinking, if I had such a great time at the meeting on Sunday, what do I have to look forward to on reunion day??? My imagination is soaring! Glad we'll have the party room, and the hospitality room the next day. If there is any way I can convey my enthusiasm to some of those who are unsure about attending, I can't think of enough to say. I'm glad to be of any help to the committee and am sooooo looking forward to this gala event! Hope to see more names on the "attending" list.

Our meeting today was GREAT! It was attended by Shirley, Cheryl, Richard, Les and Mary, Cynthia Axberg and her husband, Anthony, Kate and myself Bonnie.

Toured the ballroom and discussed decorations, table centerpieces, check in and more. We will be checking on a photographer for the event to take pictures so that classmates may order from him.

Talked also about the Class Booklet that will be passed out to the attendees. We are asking everyone to look for pictures, news articles, tickets, programs and anything else you think would be great to add to our programs. Please scan them and send them to me at votech69@yahoo.com. If you do not have a scanner, we would be happy to do them for you. Hoping to have this completed by July 19th so that Les can get them printed for us. This will be a prize keepsake for sure! Let us know what you can round up.

Didn't want to write a whole page worth, but thought of a few more things that you might like to know. We are having a Stars "Hollywood" Theme. You are all Stars after all:)

Check in will be in the upper lobby at the Medina Ballroom the evening of the event. Event begins at 5pm. Paid classmates and their guests will receive a wristband, name tag and booklet when they arrive. You may then enter the ballroom and immediately take a left and go to the far left (upper level) this is where your classmates will be. You will see our school colors.
There will be a bar set up in our area and our buffets will be set up there as well. You will need your wristband and name tag for the buffet. Since all reservations need to be in by plenty of time, that is what we will guarantee the banquet dept at Medina.

Will keep everyone updated as we go along!

Hey gang,
FYI...I have been getting notifications from classmates.com, however, it seems if you aren't a GOLD member, your options are limited, so I'm not really sure how many I may or may not have connected with. Also, I seem to be getting messages, but unable to recover them depending on level of membership from sender or recipient. Thought you might like to know. Also,
Got a return call from a "Biddle" and the only "Lee" he knew of is in a nursing home in WI. Gonna try the number anyway, could be a relative. Will keep on hunting.
Tony
P.S. Added a photo on my profile.

You are right Tony, if you are not a goldmember, I guess classmates.com does not allow you to retrieve emails. Bummer. I joined back in Jan. when I first started to look for classmates for our 40th. I did send a few emails to a few missing classmates, but not have had a response. Perhaps they are not members, so they will not get my email anyways???

Keep up the great work, we all appreciate it:) Bonnie

Hi All! Gold members can send out e-mails to all members and you will get 1 response. I have sent a few and have received e-mails back from non-gold members. Thanks, Wayne

Thanks Wayne, hopefully we will hear from the ones I sent an email to.

Hey Gang,
First, what a great way to pass information. I check the site in AM & PM for stuff. I filled out a survey for Classmates and let them know I was unhappy about my 3 month subscription not having the access I expected. So what did I pay for??? Anyway, Lee Biddle didn't pan out, and Virginia Gast was also a wash. I DID get phone responses from messages I left which is encouraging. Will keep trying.

I'm very pleased with my work - I have likely addresses, not positive but likely, for Patricia Kangas Hill, Mpls; Sue Johanson NESS, AZ; Willard & Susan Sachs,WI; Nancy Sandland, Mpls; and a possible death notice for Dale Scharver, in Ottertail MN. I'm passing them on to Billie for mailings. Good luck - TONY, KATE & TOM

I was wrong on Sue Johanson - spelled Johansen she married Jim Nedry after graduation so when Bonnie finds Jim Nedry, find out about Sue Johansen too. Talked to Cynthia Richardson & Pat Kangas today. Confirmed that Mike Rodearmel did pass away in 1971. His sister told me that he had a rare cancer that strikes young men. She said there was very little help medically at that time. Talked to relatives to send messages to these three classmates - Mary Lapitz, Marlene Korvella, Sharon LaPoint. People have returned my messages and generally it's gone very well talking to people. I had one 82 year old who couldn't understand my bothering her at her age, but that's about the only irritated person I've talked to. TIRED, SLEEP NOW!

Shirley that is great news! I have been feeling under the weather. I just found out I have bronchitis.I have not been feeling well for weeks and reading your message about the 82 year old woman wondering why your bugging her cracked me up and I haven't laughed for weeks. Thanks for the good chuckle.
You guys are all doing such a good detective job. If I ever need anyone to find someone for me - I'll hire you guys! Keep up the good work.

Bonnie:
I think Helen has some of those things that you need. I will talk to her and let her know to get those things to you. I think she has a couple of photo's from our hayride and a few programs from our senior year.

I am going to have to give up search for the following. The common last names make it a massive amount of people to look through. I've called lots of names with ages that were right for us, but no luck. These people will have to be found by someone who knows them: Bill Johnson, Kathleen Johnson, Richard Johnson, David Lee and Anne Robertson. I'm still trying on Cynthia Smith (Smith, yup there's still a little hope). That's it for now - don't think I'll find many more of the 18 on my list.

It would be great if a few teachers were at the reunion!
Are any available? I owe the Drama teacher big time for helping me remain in school with a very nice reference when Jensen kicked me out for the Homecoming scene I created. Can't remember her name right now but she should still be around as she was not very old in 1969........./ Miss ?????? thanks gang////doug

Hi Everybody! I just got my invitation and found out about this website. You all are doing a great job putting this thing together. I have a son getting married in CA on Aug 21 but am trying to work it out to get there on the 22nd. Where are all the deadbeat basketball players? Does anyone have info on Bishop, Iskerka, Rohe, Murphy or others. I will try to find/brow beat some of them into coming.
