Scott E. V, Jr. age 56, of Golden Valley, died Jan. 17, 2012, of a heart attack upon arrival in the Dominican Republic for a vacation. Survived by the love of his life and wife of 34 years, Debra Korhone Kildahl also a member of West High School Class of 1973. Scott was a veteran of the USAF, receiving the AF Commendation Medal. He was a service manager at Golden Valley Tire & Service. He had a passion for helping people, sharing his automotive expertise and knowledge of synthetic lubricants, and warming so very many lives with laughter and love. A memorial service was held Feb. 7 at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church. Many classmates were able to attend and we know that many more exted their deepest sympathies to Debra, the rest of Scott's family and his many friends who are all the better for having known him.
