We've been friends since elementary school at Bremer. Friends through Jordan Junior High, and onto North High. Gray Y, and school projects. I always loved your sweet smile, laughter and upbeat attitude.
Seeing you as Connie (Eidem) Van Treeck and I did a mere one month before your passing.... Sitting in the sunshine on your deck, on the Mississippi River, laughing and remembering old times. You made the statement "I hope I never live to grow old...seeing what my Mom and Dad went through" At the time, we had no idea how prophetic a statement that would become. You'd just had a pacemaker implanted, had suffered some ill side effects of diabetes... Four weeks later, your name came up on my caller ID...I answered, to find your daughter, Tanna, on the other end of the line. She told me of how you had passed, infection complications from the implant...Connie and I went to your family service at your sister Kathy's home. Boris'es Cuban relatives all showed up bringing great bowlsfull of Cuban dishes. You brother spoke about you, we remembered and cried. I know you're with your folks now, you took such good care of them.
I am so happy we had so many years of love and laughter together... Dearest Lynnie...I'll never forget you., Rest in Peace Honey...and fly with the Angels...You've earned your wings...
