Dean died unexpectedly of a heart attack on April 15, 2000 leading to some terrible jokes about death and taxes. He'd have enjoyed them. His funeral included lots of fun stories about his crazy sense of humor, Marmaduke stickers and his joy in his family. Dean is survived by his wife of 26 years and two cherished daughters. He now has three grandchildren he never met, but his spirit lives on in them.
A 'class clown' throughout school, he was an amazing adult, still funny, but responsible. His petite wife complemented him and gave him focus. Dean was also the best dad I have ever known and could make up to even the shyest child in record time. I am grateful to have been his 'much older' twin sister, and I miss him every day of my life.
