Mike K. Lauer, 48, of Moline, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Unity Point Trinity, Rock Island.

A Celebration of Life will be 2-5pm Saturday, September 21, 2013 at VFW Post 2153, Moline. A memorial fund will be established.

Mike was born November 3, 1964 in Rock Island, IL the son of John and Mary (Fennelly) Lauer. He graduated from Moline High School in 1983.

Mike worked at Elite Staffing, Milan and previously worked 15 years at Access Control, Rock Island. He enjoyed playing baseball, yard work and spending time with his family and their cookouts.

Survivors include his sisters, Mary Kay Breitmeyer, Moline, Patricia Lauer, Moline, Carol (Brian) Barlang, Rock Island, Debra Lauer, Moline, Teri Schoonover, Moline; brothers, John (Jeri) Lauer, Rock Island and Bob (Cathi) Lauer, Moline; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and special friends, Scott and Mona. He was preceded in death by his parents.
