Marsha Butter Soady, 40, Des Moines, Iowa, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House, Des Moines.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. today at Windsor United Methodist Church, Des Moines. Visitation was held Thursday evening at Hamilton's Funeral Home, Des Moines. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline. Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to Windsor United Methodist Church or Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church.
Marsha was born Jan. 10, 1965, in Moline, and has lived in Des Moines since 1993.
She was a graduate of Moline High School, Black Hawk College and Southeastern Travel Academy in Florida. She enjoyed her family and camping. She was a member of Windsor United Methodist Church and Windsor Elementary School PTA.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Hailey; parents, Jack and Delores Butter, brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Hazel Butter, all of Moline; nephew, Alex; and niece, Rachel. (Rock Island Argus, Sept. 9, 2005)
