I believe he was our "first" to go :( from a car accident I think. John Verstraete and I were recently catching up and he had many fond memories of Chad and his brother--making cookies (with their own "special" ingredients) for Share Joys. Boys will be boys.... Hopefully all of our friends who've passed on will "join" us when we get together again this summer.
Yes, it was a car accident. Chad was broad - sided by a drunk driver on 12th Avenue in Moline and thrown from his vehicle. Chad was a great guy! I have many funny memories of Chad. He was also the 1st person I knew who got a tattoo!...lol.
