Penny Powell Clemmons 1953 - 2017

Penny Powell Clemmons was born January 7, 1953, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Patricia Powell (nee Stevens) and Douglas Powell. She left this world Thursday January 12, 2017. She leaves behind her loving husband, David and sweet pea daughter, Chelsea. She also leaves her sister, Joanne (Bob Franco) Powell, Thomas (Wendy) Powell, John (Dennell) Powell and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

For more than a decade Penny enjoyed working at Choctawhatchee High School and most recently she was awarded the Educational Support Employee of the year.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Davis Watkins Funeral home, 113 NE Racetrack Road, Ft. Walton Beach, Fl 32547 on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. followed by a meaningful service at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a scholarship has been setup in Penny Clemmons name. Donations should be sent to the Penny Clemmons IB Student Scholarship Fund at Choctawhatchee High School.
