Kathleen Keeley

Kathleen Ann Keeley, 60, of Decatur, Ill., formerly of Moline, passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, with visitation from noon until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.

Kathleen was born Jan. 19, 1953, in Moline, daughter of Eldon Lewis Buchanan Sr. and Shirley Ann Wilcox Buchanan. She married Guy V. Keeley on Oct. 5, 1987.

Kathleen graduated from Moline High School in 1971 and was the archivist for her school class. She was a lifetime member of PTA and was a member of the American Cat Fanciers Association. She was an avid professional wrestling fan and worked as a manager for Denny's restaurant.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Guy V. Keeley, Decatur; mother, Shirley A. Buchanan, Denver, Colo.; stepchildren, Selah M. Keeley, Atlanta, Ga., Alicia Keeley, Des Moines, Iowa; sisters, Susan Pierce, Martha Buchanan, Lisa Buchanan; brother, Eldon L. Buchanan Jr.; brother-in-laws, Douglas M. Keeley, Macomb,Rick Keeley. Florida; sister-in-law, Jeanne Keeley, Quad-Cities; many aunts, nieces and nephews; and her loving cat, Blake.
