Becky S. Noetzel (nee Olson)

Becky S. Noetzel (nee Olson), age 43, died Friday, March 14, 1997, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.

She was born June 19, 1953, in Moline to Francis and Vivian Olson.

A resident of Wheaton since 1979, Mrs. Noetzel was a 1971 graduate of Moline High School, was graduated cum laude from Augustana College in 1975 and earned her M.F.A. degree from the University of Iowa in 1979. She married Tim Noetzel on Sept. 1, 1979.

Mrs. Noetzel was employed as an office manager by Countryside Animal Clinic in Carol Stream for 15 years.

She was a member of the Wheaton Bible Church, where she was involved in its music program.

She also volunteered as a music instructor at Emerson Elementary School.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by six children -- Britta, Ben, Bjorn, Christianna, Joshua and Annika; two brothers, Dan (wife Marilyn) Olson of California and Tom (wife Gina) Olson of Minnesota.

Funeral services were held March 16 at the Wheaton Bible Church.

Interment was held at Greenview Memorial Gardens in Silvis, Ill., on March 18.
