Michael Teel

Michael Wayne Teel, 53, of Aledo, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at home.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. today at Hamlet Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded by Quad Cities Cremation Center, Silvis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

He was born Sept. 17, 1953, in Rock Island to Harold A. Teel and Anna H. Munson. He married Mary Dittmer March 25, 1972, in Davenport.

He was an automation manager at PIICO in Davenport.

He was an avid motorcycle rider with his wife. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music. He was a member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) and a member of Hamlet Presbyterian Church.

Survivors (and spouses) include his wife of 35 years, Mary; daughters, Carrie (Michael) Sauers, Greendale, Ind., Stacey (Gordon) Smith, Battle Creek, Mich.; sister, Elaine Adlfinger, East Moline; brother, Harold "Butch" Teel, New Windsor; grandchildren, KayLee Lindburg, Steven Pearson, Mason and Emma Sauers. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Howard Woolsey.
