I have great memories of being in class with Marshall as he made wisecracks and got teachers off subject! Some of them found him quite humorous even though they were ready to kick him out of class! Marshall was a friend to everyone. After having seen several people go through dementia, I am glad he’s in Heaven wisecracking with the angels. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.RIP Marshall! We loved you!

I remember when I moved to Monahans my senior year leaving all my life long friends back in Carmi , IL. It was a big change in my life. Marshall, Jack Womack, and Bobby Breed  were my first new friends that I made when I jo   ined the band. Marshall was the groups clown. Always happy and always funny. We became great friends.    I will very much miss you're laughter.

It sure is hard to find the words sufficient to honor the memory of Marshall Clark. I don't remember not knowing him. He was just kind of always there to lighten up the load for all of us.  I can't remember him having an unkind word to say about anyone.  All of his classmates just loved the guy.

He was such a talented musician but so understated and quiet about it.  Oh by the way, he made the US Army Command Band.  Probably first chair clarinet but you wouldn't get it from him.

Later in life he suffered severe head and body trauma from a bad accident.  While going through a long bout of painful physical therapy he so entertained and uplifted the others fighting their way back from tough times that one day they spontaneously burst into applause when he walked into the room.  Wish we could give him a standing ovation for a life well lived.

I remember Marshal and I were going to make our fortunes at about age 10 by mowing yards in Monahans. That is until those days of 108 degrees. Then the swimming pool started calling us. We made a few bucks, but sure had more fun in the pool. God has another fine voice is His heavenly chorus.

I was so saddened to hear of Marshall's passing.  Such a special soul.  I was in Mr. Dotson's class and I can tell you there was never a dull moment.  Made the class an extra special adventure.  May your family find great comfort in knowing  how you touched all our lives and always made us smile with our hearts.

I grew up with Marshall on Water/Bruce street along with Janet Reed, the Johnston sisters, Keith Bailey, and many more and we had a blast.  Marshall's Dad repaired golf clubs and I was there he put a 22 Bullet into the vice and hit it with a hammer and it flew into his arm, what an adventure that was.  Marshall was a great friend and person and it is w a heavy heart to see him leave us.  Rest In Peace Marshall I'm sure they will enjoy your company in Heaven.  Mike

Marshall was one of our gang on Bruce Street growing up.  We all had such good times in that neighborhood!  Some vivid things I remember are our dance recitals wearing Pat and Lou Johnston's dance outfits (boys included) and putting on our own performances.  Such fun!  Also, taking turns riding around with Mike Neace on his motorcycle.  We came up with all different ways to have fun and fill the hours.

I'm am so saddened to learn of Marshall's passing but I know he lived a full life and will continue his antics in heaven with a full fury and mind.

God Bless his family!

Janet Marler

Marshall was a precious soul.  When you met him in the hall in school, he always had a smile and usually a joke or funny comment.  Deepest prayers for all his loved ones, he will be deeply missed.  I'm sure he is having a great reunion with all our classmates that have gone on before.

I do believe that all of these comments really capture the essence of Marshall -- fun, funny, and a sweet guy. I have nothing but happy memories of Friday and Saturday nights with Jack Womack, Bobby Breed, and Marshall just cruising the drive-ins, and of dozens band rehearsals, practices, performances, and road trips. My sincerest condolences to his family for the loss of a man who filled so many hearts with joy and conversations with laughter.
