Jonathan Morris Hansen
June 15, 1947 - June 27, 2008
Jonathan Hansen, 61, of Cranfills Gap, an insurance auditor, passed away June 27, 2008 in Abilene. Funeral services were held at the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian with Rev. Terry Atkins and Jim Bayless officiating. Burial at St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery near Cranfills, Gap.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chris M. Hansen, in 2004. Survived by his mother, Dorothy Hansen of Cranfills Gap; sister, Jeanne Bayless of Abilene; brother-in-law, Jim Bayless of Abilene; and nephew, James Bayles of Abilene.

I had the pleasure of spending a fair amount of time with Jonathan. We took a couple of trips to Odessa, doing just what, I won't reveal but we didn't get in trouble and we did drink a lot of Coors.
