Former classmate JOANNE (JODY) PELLETIER BREED died suddenly of a heart attack on January 26, 1998, at the age of 50 years.
Jody and her husband, Bobby (fellow ’65 classmate), had been married 30 years. They were living in Monahans at the time of her death. She was survived by her husband, Bobby; a daughter, Stephanie; her father, J. J. Pelletier; a brother, John; and a sister, Connie Pecore.
Jody was office manager for the Ward Memorial Hospital and a member of Grace Fellowship Church. Jody’s spiritual growth and her church were very important to her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and her family and friends greatly miss her smile and laughter.

I was shocked and ashamed when I read of Jody's death. We were close friends in high school, but we lost touch through the years. I saw her at the 30-year reunion in '95, and we were both thrilled to be together. I never saw or heard from her again, and learned this week that she had been gone 12 years! I felt so terrible that I hadn't known until now.
