Margie Morris Scott, 69, passed away, Sunday Sept. 17, 2017. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hearts & Hands at 1061 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012. Margie was born Feb. 1, 1948, in Kilgore. In 1966 she graduated from Monahans High School and married Don Scott. She worked for two US Congressmen, one US Senator, and the Director of the National Water Resources Assn.. She also became a Virginia Realtor. She and Don were happily married for over 51 years. SURVIVORS: She is survived by husband, Don; daughter, Angela Geisendorff and her husband, Ed; two grandsons, Brandon and Donnie; brother, James Emmert Morris, Jr.; two neices, Jamie Reeves and Kristi Benson; one nephew, Trey Morris; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ed and Leigh Ann Clifford; their daughter, Maggie, and son, James.
