Vernon L. " V.L." Brammer

Vernon L. "V.L." Brammer, age 58, of Flagler Beach, Florida, and formerly of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away in Ormond Beach, Florida on August 17, 2008 at 10:30 am. " V.L." was born 
October 10, 1949 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the son of Marion Vernon and Mildred Kelley Brammer. He was raised in Monmouth and attended Monmouth Schools. He graduated from Monmouth High School in 1967. V.L. was married to Lois Link on June 17, 1967 in Kahoka, Missouri. She preceded him on May 1, 1988. V.L. owned and operated the Brammer Body Shop in Monmouth, for a number of years. After moving to Florida, he owned the Quality Auto Parts store. He also has been a dispatcher for the Flagler County Public Transportation. 
V.L. is survived by a daughter Shani Sherman and Fred of Palm Coast, Florida 
His son Thomas Brammer and Erika of Palm Coast, Florida 
His grandchildren Austin Brammer and Elizabeth and Ellen Sherman all of Palm Coast, Florida.
A brother Gary Brammer also is surviving and lives in Texas along with a Nephew and Niece Ryan and Stephanie Brammer Preceding V.L. in death are his parents and his wife.

Services: A funeral service is planned on Friday August 22, 2008 at 1:30 pm at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Interment will be in the Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday until the hour of service. A memorial fund is being established for Jamieson Center of Monmouth, Illinois.
