OBITUARY

Marjorie Ann (Montgomery) Waddell of Louisburg, KS passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Society – Olathe, Kansas.  By her request, a private celebration of life memorial will be held for immediate family.

Born November 30, 1949 in Monmouth, IL, Marjorie was the oldest of six siblings. She graduated from Monmouth High School and then Western Illinois University with a degree in Biology.  She eventually earned her MBA while working full time and pursuing her personal goals.  She used her education to build a successful career in purchasing and worked for large pharmaceutical and animal health companies like Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim and eventually Pfizer in Lincoln, NE.

Marjorie was a very hard working, caring individual that loved nature, animals, and Native American culture.  She was a selfless giver and never asked for anything in return.  She enjoyed providing her sons, grandchildren, nieces and nephews little gifts, novelties, that always showed she was thinking of them and loved them dearly.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Doris Montgomery of Monmouth, IL, and youngest brother Joseph Montgomery of Gilbert, AZ.  She is survived by her two sons:  Kevin Waddell (Stephanie) of Olathe, KS and Kory Waddell (Ginger) of Raytown, MO; Siblings: Betty “Betsy” Montgomery Kreminski (Karl) of Pace, FL, Mitchell “Mitch” Montgomery (Kim) of Rochelle, IL, Harold Montgomery (Sherry) of Independence, MO, and Martin “Marty” Montgomery of Monmouth, IL, and sister-in-law Sandy Montgomery (Joseph) of Gilbert, AZ; Grandchildren: Hannah Waddell, Grace Waddell, Olivia Waddell, Will Waddell and Madeline Waddell as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members that cared for her deeply.
