OBITUARY
Trudy Nelson, 54, of Aurora, passed away after a recent illness Thursday, July 25, 2002 at her home. She was born June 9, 1948 in Monmouth, IL to Esther (Byers) Martin and the late Norbert Eugene Nelson.
Trudy was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge #83. Prior to her illness, she was employed by Poly-Blend Plastics of St. Charles and Western Electric of Montgomery.
She is survived by her mother, Esther (Byers) Martin of Dixon, IL; her three sisters, Frances Nelson of Monmouth, IL, Saundra (Jeffrey) Schindlbeck of Batavia and Sue Evans of Franklin Grove, IL; two brothers, Lowell (Eileen) Martin of Norfolk, VA and James (Cynthia) Martin of Batavia; eighteen nieces and nephews; seventeen great-nieces and nephews who will dearly miss their "Aunt Trudy".
She was preceded in death by her father, Norbert Eugene Nelson; (Her father passed away in Jan 1948, five months before she was born) paternal grandparents, Lester and Florence Nelson; maternal grandparents, William and Nora Byers.
Visitation was held Sunday, 2-6PM, July 28, 2002 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora.
Interment will take place at Monmouth City Cemetery. |
